Philip Massey, CPA

Professional Experience
Philip is the former President and Founder of Massey Consulting. For over 20 years, he has spent time on the software side of the accounting industry, working with applications like Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly known as Great Plains). His software implementation experience includes programs such as Peachtree, MAS 90, and Microsoft Dynamics GP.
In 2002, Philip founded Massey Consulting, which specialized in Microsoft Dynamics GP implementations. For many years, Massey focused exclusively on Dynamics GP, but in 2011, Philip felt the need to get an early start on the coming “cloud” revolution and added Sage Intacct as their system of choice. The decision was a great one as Massey was named a Sage Intacct Premier Partner and achieved the President’s Club designation before becoming a part of the Dean Dorton organization via merger in January 2019. Philip now oversees the financial software services division of Dean Dorton, where he is responsible for managing the evaluation, implementation, and support of business management software solutions for clients.
Philip focuses primarily on technology companies (e.g., software, SaaS, and biotech), nonprofit, professional services, and healthcare organizations.
