Professional Experience
Eric Riley is a healthcare executive with more than 36 years of public and private experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Dean Dorton’s healthcare consulting services group, Eric served as the Chief Administrative Officer of Lexington Clinic – one of the largest physician group practices in the Southeast, with more than 180 providers and 1,000 staff, 35 specialties, and 25 locations. Eric has held several senior management positions in areas of clinical operations, revenue cycle design, electronic health record implementation, ancillary services development, practice valuation and acquisition and payer/population health strategy implementation.
Eric’s healthcare experience includes comprehensive background related to certificate of need, strategic planning, provider and facility contracting, bundled payment contracting, Direct To Employer contracting, cancer programing in medical and radiation oncology, and multi-specialty group practice development.
Eric is also a prolific speaker, giving presentations on various healthcare topics throughout his career. Examples of presentations he has given and panels on which he has recently participated follow.
