SafeSend Organizer Instructions
Follow the instructions below to access your tax organizer. Please note the following device capabilities for using SafeSend Organizers:
Browsers:
- Google Chrome – Full functionality
- Apple Safari – Full functionality (must use version 11.3 or newer)
- Firefox – Full functionality
- Internet Explorer – No longer supported
Phones/Tablets:
- iPhone/Android – Sign and upload source documents but cannot fill out the organizer
- iPad/Tablet – Full functionality
Sending documents to us is simple! Follow the steps below and do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions:
- Once you receive a link from Dean Dorton click on the link next to Access Your Docs
- Click Get Started
- Select Request Access Code and enter the access code
- If an engagement letter is delivered with your organizer, your first step is to sign the engagement letter; if this is part of a joint return, you will have the ability to edit or enter the second signor’s email address so they can sign too
- Complete the information; if you need to come back later, click Save & Continue Later
- Once all your information is complete, click Finish
- Verify the organizer is complete by clicking Organizer Complete or Review Missing Information
- On the summary screen, click Upload Documents to send relevant documents to Dean Dorton; drag and drop documents or click to upload
- Click Save and Notify Your CPA
The Dean Dorton team will be notified as soon as the upload completes and you will also receive a confirmation email with the option to download a copy of your completed engagement letter and organizer for your records.
