THE CHALLENGE
TrainingPros’ top concerns – beyond functionality – were budget and timing. By collaborating with Dean Dorton’s implementation team, a timeline was mapped out that gave TrainingPros time to adequately prepare for their go-live date, but still got the system up and running in a timely fashion.
The Implementation
Training Pros purchased their accounting software directly from Sage Intacct but wanted an experienced value-added reseller (VAR) partner to consult on costs and timeline for the implementation. Their Sage Intacct sales representative introduced TrainingPros to Dean Dorton. During the discovery process, Dean Dorton found a few additional opportunities for improvement in TrainingPros’ payment processes. The consulting team created a custom workaround for 1099 vendors to streamline data entry and payment management, allowing Training Pros to gain crucial efficiencies and functions of a cloud-based solution. Implementing Sage Intacct provided the finance team with greater flexibility for reporting, integration with other mission-critical software solutions, and operates within their paperless office initiative.
