The Forbes Top 200 CPAs list celebrates outstanding professionals in accounting, highlighting individuals who have shown exceptional expertise, dedication, and leadership in their careers. Erica Horn, David Bundy, and Elizabeth Woodward’s inclusion on this esteemed list underscores their commitment to excellence and significant contributions to the accounting profession.

Erica Horn is a seasoned CPA with vast experience in state and local tax issues. From serving on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Society of CPAs (KyCPA) to co-founding Glean of Kentucky, Inc., Erica has held various significant positions within the CPA profession for more than three decades, Among her notable contributions, Erica played a pivotal role during the 2022 Session of the Kentucky General Assembly, where she was instrumental in the enactment of Kentucky’s pass-through entity tax election.

She was honored as Bloomberg Tax’s State Tax Author of the Year for Direct Taxes in 2019 and most recently as Kentucky Society of CPA’s Most Valued Member for my advocacy work for sound tax policy initiatives in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

In addition to serving as President and CEO at the firm, David Bundy was a pioneer in bringing consulting services to a local traditional CPA firm. He built Dean Dorton’s healthcare consulting practice from the ground-up after working at other firms and within the healthcare industry. During his tenure as President and CEO, he has helped the firm grow from a $12 million firm to almost a $100 million firm through a vision for organic growth and strategic planning with a focus on building a firm that recognizes the value of each and every team member and their expertise.

Elizabeth Woodward is recognized as a leader and educator in the profession. Over the last 10 years, she has been involved with the AICPA, where she has held several positions. Most notably, she currently serves on the Forensic and Valuation Services Committee where she contributes to the growth of the forensic accounting niche nationwide. Additionally, she has been an active member of the KyCPA since 2011 and served as the President of the Board from 2019 to 2020. Her time with KyCPA has given her opportunities to travel across the state teaching courses on ethics to other CPAs. Elizabeth also serves as Dean Dorton’s Lexington Market Leader and is highly regarded by her peers.
