The firm promotes employee involvement by offering paid time off for volunteer time for all of our staff. Dean Dorton invests more than 2,000 hours annually in service to community organizations. Employees of Dean Dorton serve on the boards and have leadership roles in nonprofit and civic organizations such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (ALS), Bluegrass Conservancy, Carnegie Center for Literacy & Learning, Greater Louisville, Inc., Commerce Lexington, Girl Scouts, Governor’s Scholar’s Program, International Book Project, Junior Achievement, LexArts, Opera House Fund, and Women Leading Kentucky.
