With more than 30 years of executive management experience, Sherri has built a distinguished career leading operations, refining financial processes, and driving growth across industries, including automotive finance, equine, and small businesses. After earning her degree from Eastern Kentucky University, she spent 15 years in automotive finance serving Active-Duty Military, then grew and sold her own business before pivoting to the equine industry.

Since joining Dean Dorton in 2019, Sherri has leveraged her CFO expertise to help clients strengthen operations, improve profitability, and plan strategically for the future. She specializes in business planning, financial analysis, forecasting, and outsourced accounting – offering actionable insights that align financial strategies with overall business goals. Passionate about supporting the equine industry, Sherri uses tools like Sage Intacct to help clients streamline operations and build sustainable financial success.
