Kristen Taylor, CPA

Professional Experience

Kristen is an assurance director with more than 19 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on audit, consulting, and advisory services. She has worked for global and regional accounting firms providing assurance services. Kristen has extensive audit and attestation experience in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, pharmaceutical, financial services, construction and nonprofit. She also provides assurance services for employee benefit plans in a variety of industries and is the designated contact for the AICPA employee benefit plan audit quality center. Kristen is a member of Dean Dorton’s growth service team.

Kristen has experience assisting clients with complex accounting and reporting issues including the implementation of accounting standards, business combinations, impairment of intangible assets, and unusual transactions. She is responsible for the final review of financial statements prior to issuance. Kristen will be the director in charge of the audit and will be intimately involved in issuing our audit opinion and communicating the results of the audit.

Kristen has served clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, financial services, employee benefits, non-profit, wholesale, marketing, retail, and higher education.
