Kristen Taylor, CPA

Professional Experience

Kristen is an assurance director with more than 20 years of experience in public
accounting with a focus on audit, consulting, and advisory services. She has worked for
global and regional accounting firms providing assurance services.

Her experience includes guiding clients through complex accounting and financial
reporting challenges such as the adoption of new accounting standards, business
combinations, divestitures, impairments, and other unique transactions. Kristen is
recognized for her ability to provide practical insights and strategic guidance that help
organizations navigate change with confidence.

Industry Expertise

At Dean Dorton, Kristen leads the firm’s Life Sciences industry team, where she brings
deep knowledge and a collaborative approach to serving clients in this dynamic sector.
She has extensive audit and attestation experience in multiple industries, including life
science, construction, manufacturing, financial services, higher education, marketing and
non-profit.

Kristen also provides assurance services for employee benefit plans in a variety of
industries and leads the firms ERISA team. She is the designated contact for the AICPA
employee benefit plan audit quality center.
