Jason Miller

Professional Experience

Jason’s professional career began in technology and has continued to evolve since joining Dean Dorton in 2001. Until the end of 2025, Jason led Dean Dorton’s Business Consulting service group. Jason currently serves as President and CEO of the firm.

As Business Consulting Service Group Leader, Jason worked with the Firm’s six Technology Consulting niche groups (Managed IT Services, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Software Consulting, IT Audit and Compliance, and Data Analytics and Automation), Healthcare Consulting, Forensic Accounting, Business Valuation, and Family Office Services. Jason has also been instrumental in developing and growing Dean Dorton’s Accounting and Financial Outsourcing Services.

During his college career and since that time, Jason has been providing technology and business consulting services to clients. Upon graduating from college, he spent three years in software
development for a publicly traded international software company. Since joining Dean Dorton, Jason has continued to expand his skills and the Firm’s services offerings. In Technology, Jason serves as virtual CIO for many organizations, evaluates and recommends accounting and financial related software solutions, serves as an outsourced internal IT Auditor, and helps clients evaluate and implement many different technology solutions.

Jason leverages his and his team’s extensive experience in technology consulting, within an accounting and business consulting firm, to expand well beyond just technology and technical skills. Much of Jason’s and his team’s work also includes business consulting to help organizations achieve business objectives and goals through the leverage of technology and industry expertise within the firm.
