Adam Davey, CPA

Professional Experience

Adam’s professional career began as a Dean Dorton (formerly VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm) co-op nearly 27 years ago. He previously served as the President and CEO of VonLehman, and now serves as the Managing Director of the Tax Service Group. Adam’s successes as an accountant stem directly from his partnerships in the community as a trusted advisor. It is one thing to become an expert in a given field, but to find a passion that fuels a career is a true measure of success. Adam perceives success as the ability to create and grow mutually beneficial, longstanding relationships.

Adam has participated in several leadership programs, including Leadership Northern Kentucky through the NKY Chamber, and was previously named to the Cincinnati Business Courier’s “Forty under 40.”

Industry Expertise

Adam manages a range of relationships, overseeing all aspects of client services including tax, audit and attestation, business consulting, and succession planning services. He previously served as the firm’s Director of Assurance Services, and currently sits on the firm’s Board of Directors. In his current role as Managing Director of Tax Services, Adam coordinates the alignment of people, processes and technology to ensure delivery of exceptional client service and comprehensive tax solutions across the firm.
