Andrew has spent the duration of his professional career specializing in audit services within the construction industry. After joining Dean Dorton (formerly VonLehman) as a new college graduate, Andrew quickly found his place within the firm’s Construction Industry Group where he has honed his expertise over the last 19 years on his way to becoming a director. In addition to being an expert in construction industry assurance services, Andrew also leads the firm’s captive insurance audit practice.

Andrew has served as a member of the firm’s technical team and the Cincinnati market construction and real estate services leader.

Andrew is highly involved with the construction industry’s most prominent trade organizations including ACI, ABC, and others, and he is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP). His favorite aspects of construction accounting are relationship building, complex problem solving, and succession planning.

Adam’s professional career began as a Dean Dorton (formerly VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm) co-op nearly 27 years ago. He previously served as the President and CEO of VonLehman, and now serves as the Managing Director of the Tax Service Group. Adam’s successes as an accountant stem directly from his partnerships in the community as a trusted advisor. It is one thing to become an expert in a given field, but to find a passion that fuels a career is a true measure of success. Adam perceives success as the ability to create and grow mutually beneficial, longstanding relationships.

Adam has participated in several leadership programs, including Leadership Northern Kentucky through the NKY Chamber, and was previously named to the Cincinnati Business Courier’s “Forty under 40.”

Adam manages a range of relationships, overseeing all aspects of client services including tax, audit and attestation, business consulting, and succession planning services. Beth is a Director and career-long member of the firm, having joined in 1998 as a co-op. Beth specializes in the manufacturing and distribution industry. As a leader of Dean Dorton’s Manufacturing & Distribution Group, Beth collaborated with a leading financial institution to form a Manufacturing & Distribution Financial Leaders Roundtable. This roundtable, which meets bi-monthly, discusses critical industry topics and provides a place to form relationships with industry peers.

Beth also leads the firm’s joint venture with Rodl & Partner, which focuses on serving U.S. subsidiaries of European-owned companies. The joint venture provides a wide array of services to this niche, including assurance, tax, transfer pricing, and more.

Beth’s public accounting experience includes auditing, review, compilation and business advisory services to a wide range of closely-held businesses. She also previously led the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Practice and is the former director of the firm’s Quality Control Committee.
