Erica Jackson, CPA, CGMA

Assurance Associate Director

Professional Experience

Erica spent the first eight years of her professional career with a CPA firm in Port Huron, Michigan providing audit services to governmental and nonprofit clients. After moving to Kentucky in 2010, she began working at a community bank, spending five of her eight years there as the Chief Financial Officer. She also spent time as the Director of Finance and Human Resources for a PreK-12 private school. Erica recently decided to return to public accounting and joined Dean Dorton’s assurance team at the end of 2021. She also serves as a member of the Nonprofit & Government Industry Team and the ASG Technical Team at Dean Dorton.

Erica provides assurance services to a wide range of clients and has been a part of various financial engagements in a variety of industries, including higher education, governmental, and nonprofit.
