Karen started her career in accounting while she attended college. Following graduation, she transitioned into her first professional roles in public accounting and technology consulting. For over 30 years since, she has provided a myriad of accounting services to companies in the manufacturing and distribution sector. Karen currently holds a leadership role in the firm’s Accounting & Financial Outsourcing Department and is also a graduate of the firm’s Future Leaders program.

Her previous experience includes serving as the controller for a magazine publisher and other contractors. Allison’s passion is helping small businesses thrive by offering hands on support of daily business activities. Before joining Dean Dorton, Nick served as Vice President at JP Morgan Chase where he was instrumental in providing direct oversight of $1.3 billion in capital commitments to clients across a variety of industries. Before this role, Nick spent 12 years in the Mergers and Acquisitions advisory practice at Wells Fargo Securities, spanning locations in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Saint Louis, Missouri, from 2004 to 2016. In this capacity, Nick provided strategic advice to senior management of both publicly traded and privately- held companies on matters of mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and strategic alternatives.
