The fourth annual Higher Education: Current Issues and Trends training day took place in March 2018 and was marked with dynamic discussions in the local and regional higher education industry. College and university professionals in the finance and accounting, student financial aid, and internal audit departments met at The Olmsted in Louisville, Kentucky for updates on accounting and tax topics, endowments, legal topics, human resources issues, student financial aid, and technology. Stay tuned for the next Higher Education training day.
Please join us on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 as we discuss accounting and finance, student financial aid, cybersecurity and other technology topics, and various tax topics related to higher education. In addition to presentations from Dean Dorton team members, we are delighted to have Jerry Abramson discuss his time as Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the White House under President Obama. We hope this year’s seminar will provide powerful insights into the challenges facing institutions of higher education.
This training is complimentary and is intended for anyone in the finance and accounting, student financial aid, and internal audit departments including but not limited to Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, Chief Business Officer and Director of Student Financial Aid. The training will allow up to 6 hours of CPE.
