Dean Dorton Associate Director of Tax Services, Erica Horn, was recognized as Bloomberg Tax’s State Tax Author of the Year for Direct Taxes on Monday, December 16 at a Bloomberg State Tax Advisory Board dinner in New York City.

Horn, who has more than 30 years of state and local tax expertise received the award for her work on the Kentucky chapters of the Corporate Income Tax Navigator and Pass-through Entities Navigator.

“It’s an honor to receive this award and it’s great to know that your work is making a difference and being recognized,” said Erica Horn.

Each year, Bloomberg Tax recognizes select authors in the tax and accounting community who have made a substantial contribution to the field, and showcased the overall strength of the entire Tax Management product range.

Erica Horn is the first to win Bloomberg Tax’s State Tax Author of the Year for Direct Taxes in Kentucky since the awards inception.

Erica has been with Dean Dorton since 2017, and has experience working in a wide range of industries including construction, equine, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution. Erica specializes in state and local taxes throughout the United States.

Additionally, Horn will be featured in the 2020 Bloomberg Tax & Accounting Calendar.
