Gwen Tilton, CPA
Gwen has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, including with a national accounting firm. She was elected President of Cotton + Allen in July 2007, and previously chaired Cotton + Allen’s tax department and litigation consulting group, prior to the combination with Dean Dorton & Ford. Gwen was previously a member of the Dean Dorton board of directors and the managing director of the Louisville office.
Gwen has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, including a tax specialist position with a national accounting firm. She has been qualified as an expert witness in Jefferson Circuit and Family Courts, Federal Bankruptcy Court, and Bourbon, Bullitt, and Oldham Circuit Courts. She has testified on commercial damages issues, including lost profit claims and contract disputes, as well as forensic accounting relating to hidden assets in marital dissolution cases and tax consequences relating to division of marital assets.
