Bill Kohm, CPA
Bill has over 20 years of experience providing audit and accounting services in various industries, including natural resources, healthcare, manufacturing, equine, and retail. He has taken on a variety of projects outside the normal audit procedures, including assisting clients with public filings, internal audit, due diligence procedures, IFRS transition, Section 404 internal controls assessments, bankruptcy accounting, and purchase accounting. Additionally, he has been influential in helping clients implement new accounting standards. Along with providing excellent client service, Bill has trained countless staff and senior auditors with the focus on understanding the risks of the client’s business and identifying process improvement recommendations.
Bill has spoken at local, regional, and national events focused on accounting and auditing matters. He has spoken at several KyCPA events and provided articles for its quarterly publication.
Additionally, for the past 12 years, he has led the firm’s annual accounting update which includes sessions in Lexington and Owensboro for over 250 participants. He also helps with the firm’s audit training.
